Rescue & Resource

The Urban Sanctuary Rescue and Resource Center is exactly what its name proposes. On a daily basis, we educate, assist, support, enlighten, and work to eliminate harmful practices that involve animals.

An all volunteer-based organization that is different from many of its counterparts as we provide both direct and indirect support for the betterment of animals and people who are vulnerable. Although our doors are open to those in need, we primarily assist dogs & cats.

Every day, we focus on bringing health and well-being to animals who are at risk via neglect, abuse, and kill-shelter procedures.

Through outreach and inclusive programs, we provide:  

Animal rescue, follow-up health care, sanctuary   opportunities for fostering and adoption, Interactive animal-assisted programming for children and youth on the spectrum. Presenters to speak at schools, community centers, and groups on animal welfare, care, and the importance of practices such as spaying/neutering.
