We’ve been on the front lines of animal rescue & welfare for over 20 years. We’ve seen a lot, saved countless animals, helped so many and understand the needs of rescued animals. That need, especially in emergency situations catapulted our efforts to focus to help animals in high kill shelters and those no longer wanted. Our organization understands the challenges, struggle and financial burden of animal rescue and it’s enormous. With the support of our generous donors, partners, animal lovers everywhere, we are Saving Animals Lives!
Meet our Magnificent 7….that turned into our Magnificent 8!
Our newest rescues needed a place to go so they wouldn’t end up separated, frightened, in an over-crowed, high kill, local shelter! The first call was for 7 and then another call for 1 more. We couldn’t leave him behind, so 7 new rescues became 8. All part of the same family.
These pups melted our hearts! We cleaned them up, helped them relax and they are finally feeling safe. They are gaining confidence and doing well in our rescue but we do need your help!
8 pups, 8 vet checks, 8 bloodwork, 8 sets of vaccines, 8 spay/neuter! They range in age from 4 months to 2 years. There are two 4 month old puppies, one with special needs. Meet our Urban Sanctuary Featured Rescue, CLEO!
ADOPT, PRECIOUS, CLEO! Meet sweet, darling, adorable rescue Cleo! Cleo is in need of a new sofa & family to call her own! She’s a wonderful, loving 20lb girl who is around 12 years young, spayed, up to date on vaccine and in very good health! (we have all health records.) She is a yummy pup who just wants to snuggle all day, go for walks or lay in the sun. She'd be perfect for a mobile, human senior looking for a companion, with a couple or single person. She's very well-trained, has a consistent sit, down, and stay. She even gives high fives! Best with a family with older kids/grandkids and no other dogs living in the home. (She can be territorial over food or toys around other dogs in her home but is good with other dogs on walks, other homes & places.) Betty White, always a friend to animals & our rescue!
THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in the #BettyWhiteChallenge and donated to help us save more lives! Betty was a friend to animals everywhere and a dear friend to us. Her huge heart, incredible kindness and deep understanding of all animals will stay with us forever! Betty was with us when we saved sweet Penny in the photo below. She held that baby in her arms and said the magic words, “what’s one more!” We live by those words and work hard to save the one left behind. We loved Betty and will miss her. We are honored to have beautiful memories of Betty and will cherish her forever.
